What Is ADR Transportation for hazardous goods shipping?

Current ADR regulations originate from a 1957 United Nations treaty, known as the “European Agreement Concerning the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road.”

ADR regulations permit only licensed, professional hazardous materials couriers to transport ADR dangerous goods in order to prevent accidental injury to persons and accidental damage to property and the environment. In addition, ADR guidelines detail acceptable practices for the packaging and labelling of dangerous goods, as well as the type of vehicles involved in the transport of hazardous goods and their safe operation.

This agreement states that hazardous goods transport must be handled only by qualified drivers, who are employed by certified freight carriers and operating properly licensed vehicles. Jag Express contracts exclusively with ADR-certified partner carriers for all of our hazardous goods transportation and always operate in accordance with ADR regulations.
